Frequently Asked Questions

"What is your philosophy regarding photography?"
In a nutshell, my photography philosophy is all about capturing your real emotions and personality. I love authenticity over forced poses, aiming to create photos that truly reflect who you are, whether it's a candid moment or a formal portrait. Interaction with each other or with me is how I capture YOU.

"Do you provide guidance for posing during the session?"
Yes! But I won't "pose" you. My style is all about capturing your authentic selves. You won’t need to say “cheese” because we’ll focus on interaction and genuine moments. My prompts are geared toward capturing your reactions.
~
"How long will it take to get my photos?"
For most sessions, your gallery should be ready within two weeks unless indicated otherwise.
~
"How many photos will I get?"
Each package includes different image options. Take a look at my pricing for more info!

~
"Do I get the copyright to my photos?"
Diana Marie Photo Studio holds the copyright to all images; however, each gallery comes with a print release for you to be able to print your images at any printer you choose.

~
"What if I need to reschedule?"
My schedule is fairly flexible, so if unforeseen circumstances should arise, we can typically accommodate. The only exception is with mini sessions. They are scheduled on select days with multiple clients, so the session cannot be rescheduled; however, you may apply your payment from the mini session to a different session.

~
"What should we wear for our family photo session?"
This is a very common question! I have a whole style guide that you can read here that goes over best practices and tips for choosing the right outfits for your photo session.

~
"Do you offer retouching, color adjustment, or other corrective services?"
Yes! All session packages include Diana Marie Edits. If more extensive editing is required, pricing will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
